One has to snicker at all of the feminists who believe that with government’s help, they are strong. Hear them roar?
Me neither.
We hear the Mainstream Media talk about the Gender Gap problem facing Mitt Romney because more women tend to favor Barack Obama. And while that was true in 2008, this year it is a different story. The latest Rasmussen poll shows Mitt Romney with a 47% – 45% lead overall with likely voters, however, when you look at the numbers behind the poll, it seems that there is, indeed, a gender gap, but not the one the media likes to pretend there is.
Women do favor Obama, but just barely. 48% to 46%.
The real gender gap is the one Obama has with men. Romney leads among likely male voters 48% to 42%.
So if there is a gender gap, it is the one Obama has with men.
But why is that?
In a word, dependency. Obama is the presidential candidate that promises to be the male surrogate for the Sugar Daddy that the weaker Liberal women are inwardly seeking. Romney believes women are just as capable as men to make it in America. Much of that is because he has been around strong Conservative women that are self sufficient and have the confidence to know it.
If most of these “independent” liberal gals would stop and think about the real reason they support a nanny state with the government promising to take care of them, they would realize just how dependent they are.
It is sad, really. Sad and funny. These “feminists” are so insecure that they don’t even realize that they are subjecting themselves to be ruled by a man. To being subservient to a man. Government personified by Barack Obama. Uncle Sugar.
Men, on the other hand, are brought up to take pride in their own ability to make their own way without being dependent on others. To be self sufficient. To own their own business metaphorically speaking. It is really more societal than genetic. Parents tend to treat male and female kids differently with different expectations.
But some women are also able to pull on their inner strength. To realize that they don’t require someone else to “take care of them”. For some, credit the parents. But many are simply too strong to pull down. We call them Conservatives.
Women like Sarah Palin scare the hell out of Liberals and they instantly hate her. Because she is everything that they really think themselves to be, but know they aren’t.
That is why Palin intimidates Liberals. Especially the women. Which is also why Republicans and Conservatives in general love and admire her.
In Liberal circles, a woman must toe the liberal line. They mistake volume and shrillness for strength.
The polls show, more and more women are waking up and realizing that liberalism enslaves them. It forces them to be subservient to men and to government. The shackles are not placed on people by Conservatives. They are the product of Liberalism, Socialism and Marxism. Always have been.
If whiny, sniveling, obnoxious women like Nancy Pelosi and Debbie Whats-her-name Schultz are the personification of “strong” liberal women, is it any wonder more and more women are becoming Conservatives? Who would want to emulate that?
There is no hope for those women and anyone like them.
With the problems facing our country, these women are stuck on killing children as the most important thing in their lives. It is not easy to decide if one should laugh at them or cry for them. No wonder Liberal men are always so angry. Conservative women won’t have them (except Mary Matalin – for God knows what reason) and Liberal women are, well, a pain in the ass.
But I think the most amazing thing I have heard lately is this supposed “War on Women”. Conservatives couldn’t possible have a war against women. We know better. The Liberal women aren’t worth going to war with. I mean, what would be the point? And the Conservative woman would kick our butts all over the country. Besides, most of the driving and motivating force behind the Republican party are the strong Conservative women. Somehow, we Conservative guys know that a war on women would be over before we “dudes” ever managed to agree on a site for the first battle. And we would have lost. And the Conservative women would pick us up, dust us off and set us back to work fixing the country.
We know that is how it would work.
The single problem I have with Conservative women are that too few of them want to step forward and run for office. I don’t really blame them, the process has become a mess.
But maybe as more women abandon the Democrats and the voluntary servitude and dependency they offer, more will be willing to step forward and lead as Conservatives.
